Our Live-Animal Outreach program was established in 1989 and has travelled to thousands of venues across Ontario since, providing both 1 hour long presentations and static displays, with the help of a team of exceptional wildlife emissaries. 

1 Hour Presentation
Each of our presentations feature a close encounter with some of Ontario's magnificent wild creatures and are designed to give the audience/participants a better appreciation for the wildlife around them. Subject matter may include adaptations, social structure, habits and environmental threats affecting each of the creatures and content can be tailored to meet a specific curriculum. Though specializing in school groups, from elementary to university level, the Muskoka Wildlife Centre has provided interactive presentations for many other groups, including Scouts and Guides, Day cares, children's camps, resorts, museums, libraries, fairs & festivals, conservation areas, provincial parks and science centres.
We typically bring 5 animals and 2 presenters for a 1 hour long presentation. Our animal line-up varies from day to day but may include animals such as a porcupine, fox, skunk, opossum, hawk, owl, turtle, snake, etc.  We can speak to up to 350 people at one time.  The cost for our interactive wildlife show is $525 + HST within a 2 hours drive from our centre in Gravenhurst.

Table Display
We can set-up a static display which includes a 6ft table display including natural history items (antlers, skulls, feathers, snake skin, etc.), activities, hand-outs and an aquarium (if appropriate) which houses a reptile (such as turtles, snakes) for the duration.  We provide 2 wildlife interpreters who will interact with the public throughout the day.  This display also includes the provision of 5 live native animals (such as porcupine, skunk, opossum, groundhog, fox, owls, hawks, various reptiles, etc.) that will be brought out one at a time throughout the day, on rotation, by our interpreters.  The cost for this display, based on up to 8 hours in a day and within a 2 hour drive from our centre is $800.00 + HST.

Deluxe Display
This display is the same as the Table Display but also includes a 8'x8' or 8'x16' (size will depend on venue) museum quality Plexiglas pen, designed to house one animal (such as badger, porcupine, beaver, skunk, groundhog, etc) for the day. The cost for this display, based on up to 8 hours in a day and within a 2 hour drive from our centre is $1200.00 + HST
