Wildlife Education

The Muskoka Wildlife Centre is a leader in native species education. We keep up to date with current issues surrounding wildlife within the province and our interpreters are renowned for their ability to speak to the many varied faces of Ontario.  We have programs developed for any age/learning level, which are both enlightening and entertaining. It is the integration of live-animal emissaries into our programming and the interactive nature of our teaching that really impacts our visitors and audiences.  Whether you are interested in visiting our centre or having our team come visit you, the Muskoka Wildlife Centre has something for everyone.

If you are a visitor to the Muskoka Wildlife Centre you will have the opportunity to take advantage of our daily "Meet the Creature" sessions, where you will have the chance to see, meet and learn about otherwise seldom seen wildlife.  These encounters may include watching a bird of prey flight demonstration, howling with the wolves or even petting a porcupine!

If you are a teacher and/or would like to find out what we have to offer schools please click on For Teachers.

If you would like to bring a different type of group to the centre (birthday party, camp, day care, tour group, etc.)  please click on Group Visits.

If you would like to have our dynamic education team come to you at your event/function please click on Live-Animal Outreach.
